Solar Mole and Snake Repeller

A device powered by solar energy, making use of sound waves to repel harmful moles, voles, rodents, and snakes, etc. By emitting sound waves, the device drives away underground rodents and snakes effectively. The sound waves will irritate them, simulate danger, and repel them away from the irradiated area. Transmitting sound waves every 45 seconds or so, the device is effective within an area of 800 square meters.

The device radiates in all directions. Avoid any obstruction and let the sound waves be emitted freely. To make the best use of the product, we strongly recommend an installation of 2 devices at every 30 meters for ground areas frequented by rodents.

The device's power is supplied by a solar cell, a rechargeable accumulator collecting power for operation at night. When the accumulator is fully charged, it can supply enough power for the dark hours, thus ensuring a continuous around-the-clock operation.

Please note:

First, check the ground surface before using it. Frozen soil, irrigated or waterlogged ground is not suitable. Dig a hole into solid earth to place the device. The density of the soil will greatly affect the effectiveness of the device. The more solid the earth, the better the device will be functioning.

No hammer should be used in the installation.

No excessive force should be applied lest the device is damaged.

Installation:

1.       Take the parts carefully out of packaging

2.       Connect the cable between solar cell and aluminum tube, Fix the aluminum tube and solar head together

3.       Push the aluminum tube into the ground by hand. Head must be 4 inches above ground. Please do not use hammer or similar too to do this. The aluminum tube cannot be rammed into rock. There is danger of injury and the tube could become damaged. 

1.       The top of the tube stem should at minimum of 60mm or more out the ground to ensure the aluminum tube stem is clear of any possible ground water leaking into it.

2.       Before using, place the solar head with the solar panel in direct in sunlight for two days to fully charge the battery before connecting to the stem.

3.       The device is water resistant but must not stand in water. In case of sudden flooding remove each unit until rain recedes.

4.       Effectiveness of the product depends largely upon soil type. Moist clay is the best conductor of sound; dry, sandy or peat soil does not conduct the sonic waves as easily.
